Who we are
Mixfield SAS, 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France (SIREN 106 353 899), is responsible for the personal data used to provide our website, plugins, licences and support. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@mixfieldplugins.com. Business phone: +33 9 72 19 32 27 (voicemail).
What we use and why
- Purchases and licences: we receive your purchase email, order and payment references and transaction status from Stripe/Link. We use them to issue and deliver your licence, manage activation limits, provide access to receipts and handle refunds. This processing is necessary to fulfil our contract. Stripe/Link handles checkout payment details under its own privacy policy; our licensing server does not collect full payment-card numbers.
- Activation and trials: we process your device identifier, computer name, operating system, activation status and dates. Technical details can include OS version, architecture, plugin version and format, licensing-library/framework versions, host/client name, language and locale. Licence checks fulfil the contract; our legitimate interests in troubleshooting and preventing licence abuse support relevant diagnostics and trial-abuse prevention. Device identifiers stored as hashes can still be linked to your licence and are not anonymous.
- Account access and security: we use your email, temporary login codes, sessions, IP address and browser information to let you manage licences and protect access. Account access fulfils the contract; security and rate limiting serve our legitimate interest in preventing unauthorised access. You sign in by email code rather than a password.
- Website and downloads: our hosting provider processes request information, including IP address and requested resources, to deliver and secure the site, plugin updates and downloads. We use the country supplied by our hosting provider to select the checkout currency. Our legitimate interests are operating and protecting the service and presenting relevant prices.
- Voicemail: OVHcloud records the messages you choose to leave and automatically transcribes them to help us answer your support requests. The recording and transcript are sent to our Proton support mailbox and follow the same retention period as support correspondence: three years after the last exchange.
- Support: we use the contact information and messages you send us to answer questions and solve problems, to fulfil our contract or respond to pre-purchase requests. We retain relevant dispute evidence where needed for legal claims and keep records required by law. Please do not send passwords or card numbers.
Our current website and plugins do not include advertising trackers or upload your audio or projects. The interactive demo downloads example audio; it does not record your microphone.
Your purchase email and the identifiers needed for activation are required to deliver and manage a licence. Without them, we cannot provide those functions. You need not provide unrelated information in support requests. Automated licence checks use licence status, device limits and trial expiry; contact support if you believe access was refused incorrectly.
Cookies and providers
We use necessary cookies for account sessions and access to your purchase confirmation. Login codes expire after five minutes; account sessions have a 24-hour lifetime that can renew during use; the purchase cookie expires after 24 hours. Restricted staging/admin pages also use Cloudflare Access authentication.
Cloudflare hosts and secures the site, files and licensing database. Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check for automated abuse before sending a message. Proton delivers licence/login emails and handles our support mailbox. Stripe/Link handles purchases and processes payment data for its own responsibilities. Authorised Mixfield personnel access data as needed for support and operation; relevant records may also be disclosed where legally required.
OVHcloud provides our voicemail and its automatic transcription. Some providers process data outside the EEA. Their applicable safeguards include adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses, as described in the Cloudflare data processing agreement, Proton data processing agreement and Stripe privacy policy. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to our services.
How long we keep data
- Login codes expire after five minutes and sessions after 24 hours, with renewal possible. Expired records are scheduled for deletion every five minutes; rate-limit records are removed after 24 hours.
- Licence records and essential activation identifiers are retained while needed to provide the licence, establish your rights and enforce revocation. A refund does not automatically erase these records. Minimum trial identifiers and dates are kept to prevent repeated trials, with the need reviewed when the product is retired.
- Our retention policy is 12 months for names and technical details of deactivated computers, administration history while needed to manage the licence, support and disputes, and three years after the last exchange for support messages, including voicemail recordings and transcripts.
- Cloudflare execution logs are retained for up to seven days and database recovery history for up to 30 days, depending on the plan, without an additional one-year archive. Manual database exports have a one-year retention policy. Proton may retain deleted mail in backups for up to 30 days.
Records needed for legal obligations or an active dispute may be retained separately with restricted access. Deleted data may remain in backups until they expire; applicable deletions must be reapplied after restoration.
Your choices and rights
Contact support@mixfieldplugins.com to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, or portability where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need to verify your identity and explain any information that must be retained. You can also complain to the CNIL or your local data-protection authority.
We will date changes to this notice and notify you of material changes where appropriate.
